🎥 Day 11 of Keeping It Real

Today has been a good day, and I’m thankful to report my blood sugars have been steady again. 🙏 With Type 1 Diabetes, I never take a good blood sugar day for granted.

One of the sweetest parts of today has also been spending time studying the Bible and being in the presence of the Lord. There is just something about time with Him that settles the heart, renews the mind, and strengthens the spirit.

Sometimes the greatest self-care isn’t found in products or routines—it’s found in the quiet place with God. 💙

I’ve also been thinking about beauty and confidence today.

I truly believe taking care of ourselves—whether spiritually, physically, or even through simple things like skincare, makeup, or doing your nails—can be a way of honoring the body God has given us.

That’s one reason I’ve been excited about sharing Mary Kay and Kleo Kolor Nails. I’ve been enjoying the products from both companies so much. They’ve been a blessing and a fun part of this season.

And for me, it’s not just about looking your best—it’s about feeling encouraged.

Sometimes after grief, depression, and health struggles, even small things that help you feel put together can lift your spirit.

And there is nothing wrong with that.

God wants us to see ourselves the way He sees us—valuable, loved, and beautifully made.

So today I’m thankful for: 🙏 Good blood sugars
🙏 Time in God’s Word
🙏 New opportunities
🙏 And simple things that bring joy

Keep the Lord first, take care of yourself, and remember—you are worth investing in.

 🎥 Keeping It Real Making It Through Mother’s Day After Loss 💙 Mother’s Day can be beautiful… but it can also be incredibly hard when you’ve lost a child. This Mother’s Day has brought a lot of emotions for me. I miss my daughter deeply, and there are moments when the grief still feels very heavy. There’s an emptiness that comes with losing a child that never fully goes away. But by the grace of God, I’m making it through one moment at a time. 🙏 And while my heart misses my daughter here on earth, I’m also thankful for the blessings God has still given me.
