💜 Keeping It Real: Memories, Grace, and a New Beginning Memories are a part of life. Some memories make us smile. They remind us of laughter, family, friendships, and the blessings God has given us. Those are memories we treasure. But there are also memories that hurt. Memories of loss, mistakes, grief, rejection, and things we wish had never happened. Sometimes those memories seem to come out of nowhere and remind us of seasons we would rather forget. The beautiful thing about being a follower of Jesus is that although we may remember our past, God does not hold it against us when we come to Him in repentance and place our faith in Christ. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, He forgives our sins, washes us clean, and gives us a brand-new beginning. The Bible says: 📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." I love that verse because it reminds me that my past does not de...
