What To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do Life has moments that leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, confused, or completely lost. Sometimes the situations we face feel bigger than our strength, deeper than our understanding, and heavier than anything we’ve carried before. In those moments, it’s easy to panic, freeze, or fall into worry. But God never leaves His children without direction. When you don’t know what to do , the Bible gives us clear steps to find peace, guidance, and hope. 1. Pause Instead of Panicking When uncertainty hits, our minds can start racing. But the first step is to stop and breathe. Scripture: “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 Stillness allows God space to speak peace into your situation. 2. Pray Honestly You don’t need fancy words—just a real conversation with God. Tell Him how you feel, what you fear, and where you’re confused. Scripture: “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not k...

Finding Hope in a Hopeless Situation

Image
🌟 Finding Hope in a Hopeless Situation There are moments in life when everything feels dark, heavy, and impossible to carry. Moments when you look around and see no way out… when the pain is too deep, the grief is too heavy, or the situation feels too far gone. I’ve faced those moments too—times when I didn’t know how to move forward or how to breathe through the weight of it all. But here’s the truth God has been teaching me over and over again: Hopeless situations are where His hope shines the brightest. When we reach the end of our strength, that is exactly where God begins to show us His. I’ve learned that sometimes God doesn’t take us around the fire—He brings us through it. Not to harm us, but to reveal His power, His comfort, and His love in ways we would have never known otherwise. When everything in life screams “There is no way,” God gently whispers, “I AM the way.” Hope is not found in the situation changing. Hope is found in Jesus, who never changes. Even in ...

What the Bible Says to Do When WE Get Caught in Our Own Thoughts

Image
📖 What the Bible Says to Do When We Get Caught in Our Own Thoughts    I have and still go through each and every one of these steps each day. Each one of these is the best way to put every thought under the subjection of Jesus and let Him have His way in our minds which will lead to a better day, each and every day. I hope and pray that these posts I am doing and have done will reach the right people at the right time. Remember you are never alone in your walk with Jesus, God has the right people in your life for each step you need them, but the best part is Jesus is always there 24/7, 365 days, every second of every day. We just have to keep our thoughts on Him and what He is saying for us to do. 1. Bring Every Thought Captive When your mind starts running away with fear, doubt, or worry: “We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5 God tells us to grab hold of the thought and measure it against His truth. 2. Fix Your Mind on ...

Key Facts About Type 1 Diabetes

Image
Key Facts About Type 1 Diabetes Type 1 Diabetes is an invisible, lifelong autoimmune disease that affects millions of people, yet many still don’t understand what it truly is. Here are some important facts everyone should know: • Autoimmune disease: Type 1 Diabetes occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. • Insulin is essential for survival: People with Type 1 must take insulin every day through injections or an insulin pump. Insulin cannot be taken as a pill because stomach acid destroys it. • Symptoms can appear suddenly: Increased thirst and urination, extreme hunger, sudden weight loss, fatigue, and blurred vision are common warning signs. • Can occur at any age: While often diagnosed in children, teens, and young adults, Type 1 can develop at ANY stage of life. • Not preventable: There is currently no known way to prevent Type 1 Diabetes. • Requires lifelong management: Proper care helps people with Type...

What It's Really Like Living With An Invisible Autoimmune Disease

Image
What It’s Really Like Living With an Invisible Autoimmune Disease What is it like to live with an autoimmune disease that no one can see? For many people, this is their daily reality — and I am one of them. I have lived with Type 1 Diabetes for 45 years. It has been a silent battle most of my life. People see us smiling on the outside, but they don’t see the exhaustion on the inside. Some days we have to gather every bit of strength just to make it through work, get home, and try to rest… but true rest rarely comes. There is the constant routine of checking blood sugar, keeping numbers in range, adjusting insulin, and trying to live a “normal” life while your body is fighting you. People think it’s easy — but it’s not. You can eat right one day and suddenly nothing works. You can exercise and your sugar drops too low or spikes too high. Every correction takes a toll on your body and your mind. What makes it harder is all the misinformation that people believe about Type 1 Diabetes. Whe...

Watch Your Words------Speak Life

Image
When we speak, we must be careful how we speak. Why? The answer is actually simple: our words carry power . God tells us throughout His Word to speak life, not curses. Scripture says: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21 “Bless those who curse you, bless and do not curse.” — Romans 12:14 “A gentle answer turns away wrath.” — Proverbs 15:1 How we speak is often shaped by how we were raised—what was spoken over us at home, at school, or by the people we trusted. Growing up with hurtful words can leave wounds that follow us into adulthood. Many people never fully recover from the trauma of how they were spoken to. But there is help—both from loving people and from the Lord Himself. God reminds us throughout the Bible to watch our words, even the ones we speak about ourselves . Negative self-talk is just as harmful as harsh words spoken to someone else. And yes—this includes cussing or speaking in anger. I’ve been there, too. Sometimes I st...

God Says Fear Not

Image
What God Says About Fear Fear is something we all face. Some fears are simple — like spiders or heights — and some go much deeper. But no matter what kind of fear we struggle with, God’s Word speaks to it. In fact, the Bible says “fear not” 365 times. That’s one reminder for every single day of the year. God knew we would need it. But fear doesn’t always look like being scared of something. Sometimes fear shows up in our thoughts, in the way we see ourselves, and in the lies we’ve carried for years. There’s a line from an old movie that says, “The bad stuff is easier to believe.” If you grew up in the 80s or 90s, you probably know exactly which movie that is. And it’s true — the bad stuff is easier to believe when you come from a broken home or have been torn down by people who were supposed to care for you. I’ve lived with that fear for a long time. Our daughter struggled with the same thing before she went home to be with Jesus. So many of us hide our faith because we’re afr...

Finding Strength for the Holidays After Loss

Image
--- Finding Strength for the Holidays After Loss With the holidays coming up, I’ve learned that the only way to make new memories — and keep on living after losing a loved one — is with the help of the Lord. He is the One who carries us when our hearts feel too heavy. His Word holds the answers, the comfort, and the strength we need. I know this personally. The first Christmas after my daughter passed was one of the hardest moments of my life. Everything felt different. But I also knew she would have been upset if I stopped celebrating the season she loved so much. Now we are approaching our second Christmas and our first Thanksgiving without her, and yes… it still hurts. We will always miss her. But I also know where she is. She is celebrating in heaven — in joy, in peace, and in the presence of Jesus. So while we’re still here on earth, the best choice we can make is to put God first. To seek His wisdom. To let His Word guide us, comfort us, and lift us up. That doesn’t take away the...

Every Picture Tells A Story of God's Faithfulness

Image
As I look back at pictures I’ve taken over the years, I see more than just faces or places — I see moments that shaped my life. Some hold laughter and joy, while others bring back memories of pain and loss. But through it all, I’ve learned that every photo tells a story of God’s faithfulness. Sometimes the hardest pictures to look at are the ones that remind us of what we’ve lost. Yet even in those moments, God was there — holding us, guiding us, and using each chapter to strengthen our faith. Our pictures become a kind of testimony, showing how far God has brought us. What once felt like broken pieces can become reminders of His love and grace. Every image, whether happy or hard, is proof that nothing is wasted in God’s hands. 📸✨ #FaithJourney #GodsGrace #Testimony #HopeThroughFaith
