My Mary Kay Journey
One thing I have learned through life is this—when you look better, you often feel better too. π
That does not mean we are trying to be perfect or look like the world says we should. It simply means taking care of ourselves and learning to feel confident in the skin God gave us.
Today I wanted to share one of my favorite looks using some of my Mary Kay products that I have truly been enjoying lately. π
For this look I used: ✨ TimeWise 3D Luminous Foundation
✨ Loose Powder
✨ Blue Eyeliner
✨ Lipstick
✨ Setting Spray to finish the look
I absolutely love how lightweight and natural these products feel while still helping my skin have a soft glow and polished look.
And honestly, during seasons of grief, depression, health struggles, and stress, doing something simple like fixing my hair, putting on makeup, or taking care of my skin can really help lift my spirit and confidence.
As many of you know, I have been walking through a lot over the last few years between losing my daughter, dealing with Type 1 Diabetes, hypothyroidism, and trying to rebuild emotionally and physically after some very hard seasons.
So this Mary Kay journey has become more than makeup for me.
It has become: π A confidence booster
π A creative outlet
π A way to encourage other women
π A reminder to take care of myself
π And another door God has opened in my life
I truly prayed before starting this business, and I believe God is helping guide me through this new season step by step.
One thing I want women to understand is this:
There is nothing wrong with wanting to feel beautiful.
Whether you wear makeup every day, only sometimes, or not at all—you are still valuable and loved by God.
But if doing your makeup, skincare, nails, or self-care helps you smile again during a hard season, then that is a blessing too. π
We spend too much time tearing ourselves down when God is calling us to see ourselves through His eyes.
Strong.
Beautiful.
Loved.
Chosen.
And worthy.
I am thankful for every person supporting my Mary Kay journey, praying for me, encouraging me, and cheering me on along the way. It truly means more than you know. π
And I pray that through this business I can not only help women feel confident on the outside, but encouraged and uplifted on the inside too.
π “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” — Proverbs 31:25
Have a blessed and beautiful day everyone π
