Keeping It Real Healing From Rejection With God’s Help

Healing From Rejection With God’s Help ๐Ÿ’™

Let’s talk about another topic today that so many of us deal with—rejection.

I recently started reading a book by Joyce Meyer and Ginger Stache called Healing the Wounds of Rejection, and honestly, it has opened my eyes in so many ways.

As I have been reading and studying, I am starting to see how rejection has affected parts of my life from childhood even into adulthood.

And I think a lot of us carry wounds from rejection without even realizing how deeply it has shaped the way we think, feel, and respond to life.

Rejection can come in many forms.

It can come from family.

Friends.

Relationships.

School.

Work.

Church hurt.

Feeling left out.

Feeling unseen.

Feeling unloved or unwanted.

And sometimes people may not even realize the damage their words or actions caused.

But God sees it all.

One thing this book has really helped me understand is that rejection does not just disappear on its own—we have to bring it to God and allow Him to heal those deep wounds.

And that is exactly what I am trying to do.

I am seeking God and asking Him to pull rejection out by the roots and help me fully heal from it.

Now, I know this will not be an easy process.

Healing rarely is.

But with God’s help and me doing my part, I truly believe healing can happen. ๐Ÿ™

These two women openly share the hurt and rejection they have faced in their own lives and how God helped them through it, and honestly that encouraged me because it reminds us that none of us are alone in this.

The truth is—every single person has experienced rejection in some form.

No one is exempt from hurt.

And just because we are Christians does not mean we are protected from the painful parts of life.

We still go through struggles.

We still deal with heartbreak.

We still carry wounds sometimes.

No family is perfect.

No person is perfect.

And many people carry hidden pain or family hurts behind closed doors.

The world may not always see those wounds…

But God does.

And the beautiful thing is this:

God does not reject us. ๐Ÿ’™

People may fail us.

People may misunderstand us.

People may walk away.

But God never will.

He is here to help us heal, restore, and grow stronger through Him.

We just have to seek Him, trust Him, and allow Him into those broken places we often try to hide.

And maybe healing starts by finally admitting:

“Yes, I have been hurt.”

“Yes, rejection affected me.”

“But God can heal me.”

You are not what people said about you.

You are not forgotten.

You are not unloved.

You are chosen by God. ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿ’™ “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Praying healing, peace, and restoration over everyone silently battling rejection today. ๐Ÿ’•
