Trying to Organize a Small Space While Keeping My Health and Mind in the Right Place πŸ’™

Living in a very small space can be challenging at times, especially when you’re also dealing with health issues, grief, stress, and everyday life.

Lately I’ve been trying to organize my little cottage better and make it feel more peaceful and manageable. And honestly, sometimes that can feel overwhelming too.

When you live with Type 1 Diabetes and other health struggles, clutter and stress can affect more than just your home—it can affect your mind, your emotions, and even your blood sugars.

So I’m learning to take things one small step at a time.

Not trying to do everything in one day.

Not putting pressure on myself to make everything perfect.

Just slowly creating a space that feels calmer, healthier, and more peaceful.

I’m also learning that taking care of your mental health matters just as much as taking care of your physical health.

Some days that means organizing.

Some days that means resting.

Some days that means sitting quietly with my Bible, prayer, and worship music.

And through it all, Jesus has been helping me keep my heart and mind in the right place. πŸ™

I truly believe God cares about every area of our lives—even the small everyday things like our homes, our thoughts, and our health.

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed today, remember this:

You do not have to fix everything all at once.

Take a breath.

Take one step at a time.

And let God guide you through it.

Little progress is still progress. πŸ’™

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40

Have a blessed and peaceful day πŸ’•
