Keeping It Real – God Is Moving
π Keeping It Real – God Is Moving! π
The last two days have been great when it comes to my blood sugars, and I am so thankful for that. Praise God! π
Of course, life with Type 1 Diabetes always seems to keep us on our toes.
Last night it was time to change my Dexcom G7 sensor because my 10 days were up. I got everything ready, cleaned my arm, applied the new sensor, and waited for it to start.
Well... it failed. π
The sensor gave me a "failed sensor" message, which is never fun to see.
Thankfully, I was able to get online with Dexcom, and they are sending me a replacement. Until it arrives, I am back to doing finger sticks to check my blood sugar.
Now, after living with Type 1 Diabetes for many years, I can honestly say this is not the first time I've had to go back to finger sticks, and it probably won't be the last. It's just part of the journey sometimes.
Technology is wonderful when it works, but it is always good to remember the basics and know how to manage things when technology decides to take a break. π
The important thing is that my blood sugars are still doing well, and I am grateful for that.
And now for some exciting news...
I have found a weekend job! π
Praise God!
I will start training on Saturday, and I am excited to see where this opportunity leads. As many of you know, I have been praying about finances, opportunities, and future goals for quite some time now.
Between my regular job, my Mary Kay business, my Kleo Kolor business, and now this weekend opportunity, I can truly see God opening doors and making a way.
Sometimes we pray and pray and wonder if God hears us.
Then all of a sudden things begin falling into place one step at a time.
Maybe not exactly when we want them to, but always right on time according to His plan.
I am learning that faith means trusting God even when you cannot see the whole picture.
It means continuing to move forward when things seem slow.
It means thanking Him for the answer before you even see it.
Today my heart is full of gratitude.
Grateful for good blood sugars.
Grateful for modern technology, even when it has a few hiccups.
Grateful for a new job opportunity.
Grateful for God's provision.
And grateful for all of you who continue to follow along on this journey.
No matter what challenge you are facing today, keep trusting God. He is still working behind the scenes, even when we cannot see it.
π "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:19
Have a blessed and wonderful day, and keep the faith. God is moving in big ways! ππ
